From July 30 to August 2, 2024, the fifteenth edition of the Aquileia Film Festival kicks off: cinema, archaeology, experts will take turns on stage for four evenings in a program full of events.
The event is organized by the Aquileia Foundation with Archeologia Viva and Firenze Archeofilm, in collaboration with the Municipality of Aquileia, the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape of FVG, the So.Co.Ba. Foundation, PromoTurismoFvg, the Regional Directorate of FVG Museums and the National Archaeological Museum of Aquileia.
The public will be asked to vote for the winner of the Aquileia Prize, a mosaic created by the Scuola Mosaicisti del Friuli that will be awarded on the evening of Friday 2 August. The films in competition have been chosen from the best of international film production, with archaeological and historical themes.
