You have many opportunities to visit Aquileia!
You can either buy online the entrance tickets to the cultural sites of the city or choose the FVGCardAquileia, an all-inclusive pass to explore the World Heritage Site and its treasures, with a wide range of exclusive services.
Alternatively, you have the chance to go to the ticket offices and choose the most suitable solution for your tour (Bookshop of the Basilica in Piazza Capitolo 4 and Bookshop of the National Archaeological Museum in via Roma 1). The FVGCardAquileia can be purchased at the PromoTurismoFVG Infopoint, situated in via Giulia Augusta 11, at the Pro Loco Infopoint, located in Piazza Capitolo 4.

How to get to Aquileia
Aquileia is located a few kilometers from the lagoon of Grado and the UNESCO site of Palmanova. The city is easily accessible by public transport, has areas for campers and is connected to the network of regional cycle routes thanks to the Alpe Adria Radweg.
BY TRAIN
Railway Station: Cervignano-Aquileia-Grado. Then, take public transport (Tpl buses) to reach Aquileia. Get off at “Aquileia Centro”, then follow the silhouette of the Campanile to reach the Basilica (5 minutes’ walk).
Accessibility
- The National Archaeological Museum is accessible in all its parts to people with motor disabilities and there is a wheelchair available to visitors. Information and content to prepare for the visit (LIS video guides, social history, audio descriptions) are available on the museum web page ACCESSIBILITY.
- The educators of the museum can accompany school children, on educational visits, with any special needs: to book free routes and activities it is necessary to contact the Educational Service of the museum at museoaquileiadidattica@cultura.gov.it or +39 0431 91035.
- The basilica complex is accessible in all its parts to people with motor disabilities. At the entrance of the Basilica there is a touch panel for blind visitors and on request we can provide two audio guides designed specifically for this disability.
- All archaeological areas, including the Titus Macers’ House, are accessible to people with motor disabilities with trirides.
- On the web page of the Mappa Parlante (“Talking Map”) of Aquileia videos are available in LIS to discover the treasures and history of the city.

If you are planning a visit to Aquileia for a group, we suggest you book the entrance to the cultural sites you want to include in your itinerary, following the information in the table below.
The entrance to the archaeological areas is free and it not required the reservation.

"Reduced": 4€ - group visitors (minimum 15 people, maximum 50) from 18 years old.
