SATURDAY, AUGUST 1 – INCinema Series
Screening of REAR WINDOW
Alfred Hitchcock, 1954, 112′ — original version with Italian subtitles
A photojournalist confined to immobility by a leg cast turns his courtyard into an unwitting film set, where every lit window becomes a small story of its own. One of Alfred Hitchcock’s absolute masterpieces, a perfect thriller that turns the act of watching into a gripping investigation. Set almost entirely within a single courtyard, the film — starring James Stewart and Grace Kelly at the height of their careers — offers a remarkably modern reflection on voyeurism, curiosity, and the thin line between reality and imagination. A timeless classic, still able today to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, just like its protagonist.
The screening is also accessible to people with sensory disabilities, with on-screen subtitles and audio description available via smartphone through the Earcatch app (iOS and Android).
